Commitment To Quality Customer Service

At Butcher Farrell’s Meat Emporium we aim to deliver a high quality customer shopping experience, showcasing carefully sourced high welfare meat products in our skilfully worked counter display.  We want our customers to leave the premise knowing they have done their part for the meat industry by purchasing sustainably produced meat, which in turn will also give them the maximum flavour in their cooking.  We hope that we can reinvigorate the publics’ perception of the craft of butchery and inspire the joy of cooking with quality produce.

Always a pleasure to visit Jonny and chat all things meat. Now my weekly patronage. Some brilliant aged beef and the best I can get my hands on. Also really enjoyed the free range pork and chicken we have had too. Can’t recommend enough.

I love how passionate this guy is about his trade.. and about not only the quality of the meat he works with but also the source. Supporting regenerative farming in a way that not many butchers do! Setting the bar for a sustainable future of agriculture. The beef we have had from Butcher Farrell is some of the tastiest I have ever had!

The steaks and beef (and all the meat to be fair) are just amazing, definitely the tastiest around. Jonny is so passionate about his meat, how it’s sourced and his customers - the best around 5 Stars 👍 Oh and you’ve got to try his sausages - wow

Wow!!! What a lucky find. Googled farm shops to get something for Sunday tea. Bought the dry aged beef ribs to have before the black garlic chicken stir fry. What can we say but AMAZING! The ribs, slow cooked in the oven with just salt and pepper (recommended by the butcher) were absolutely sensational. The stir fry, the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend anyone to go and try. Keep up the amazing work!!!

Commitment To high welfare

Bottom line is we source our meat from farms and suppliers that stick to our ethics.  All of our meat is free range and high welfare.

Our beef and lamb are pasture raised, meaning they have spent their lives out in fields eating a mixture of grasses, herbs and other plants ensuring their diet is packed full of nutrients.  Our pork comes from Packington Free Range in Staffordshire, where the pigs spend their whole lives outside free to roam.  Our free range chickens are slow reared in Yorkshire feeding on clover, herbs and grasses, producing the most exceptional poultry.

By buying high welfare, you can know that you are supporting environmentally conscious farmers that raise animals with health and animal welfare at the  forefront of what they do.  The health benefits are not only carried over to the consumer but the resulting high quality of meat is evident when consumed.  We love chatting to our customers about all things meat, so just pop in or contact us if you have any questions.
